How It All Began

In May of 2021, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and began a life-changing journey. During such a challenging time, I was incredibly grateful for the support from my cancer care team at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center, which moved me to want to give back to those who supported my journey as well as those facing their own experiences with cancer. Drive Fore The Cure combines my love for golf with my passion for improving cancer care for Mainers like myself, and I look forward to seeing the lasting impact the Cupo Fund will make for years to come.

Proceeds from the event go to The Cupo Fund, an endowment established to provide ongoing financial resources for MaineHealth Cancer Care. This Fund will support MaineHealth's much-needed investments in cancer care delivery, clinical trials, expansion, and its ability to provide the highest level of available treatments for all people seeking care in Maine.
